Drawing on my peripatetic lifestyle and infused with the optimism, bright colors and awkward enthusiasm of a young girl
in the ‘90’s, I create work that aims to brighten even the darkest of days (without denying their existence).
This desire comes from personal experience–many times art has encouraged me to press on despite it all.
If something of mine can do the same for even just 1 other person, I will be immensely pleased.
