Halloween Whimsy
I love Halloween. Even though growing up I didn’t get to Trick or Treat–instead going to my church‘s “Fall Fun Fest”* or over to our neighbors‘ epic Halloween party, I always feel a frisson of delight when the jack o‘lanterns, spiders & witches start appearing.
Now living in the UK, where Halloween is still a growing thing (though I feel a bit ambivalent about it overshadowing their more traditional Fall holiday, Bonfire Night), I‘ve found myself making Halloween Cards, in lieu of the traditional Christmas/Holiday Card. Why not? It‘s a holiday after all 😛
