Pattern: Y’all Means All
Leading up to the first No King’s Rally in 2025, I made this illustration based off several small portraits I’d sketched of various classmates and friends. As a democracy lovin’ Texan raised 90’s girl, I strongly believe in Liberty & Justice for *all* regardless of race, income, religion, etc etc. The fact that this is now considered ‘wrong’ is both perplexing and deeply dismaying to me.
The last ’empty’ face stresses that it takes all of us (including the viewer) to fulfill America’s promise.
I know it sounds cliché but it is true: our diversity is our strength.
